The agreement between you and us, written to be read. Using Noeta means you accept it.
Noeta is run by Mikhail Golikov, trading from the United Kingdom, at Flat 3, 80A Stoneham Road, Hove BN3 5HH, United Kingdom. For anything about these terms, email golikovichev@gmail.com.
You give it study material. It reads the material, writes flashcards and a quiz from it, and schedules each card to come back to you before you would forget it.
The cards are written by a language model from your material, and a model can be wrong. It can misread a table, invent a detail that was not in the source, or state something confidently and incorrectly. Check anything that matters against the source it came from.
This is a study aid. It is not medical, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for the syllabus of any exam you are sitting. The coverage view says outright that its reading of a subject is a guess rather than an official curriculum, and it means it.
We do not promise the service is always available. It is one person's product running on rented computers.
You keep every right you had in what you upload. You give us permission to store it, send it to the model that builds your deck, and show it back to you - and to nothing else.
Only upload material you are allowed to upload. Somebody else's textbook, a colleague's confidential documents and a friend's exam paper are all your problem, not ours.
A deck you make is readable by anyone holding its link. That is what makes sharing work, so do not put anything in one that you would not hand to a stranger.
Free builds two decks a day and costs nothing. Pro builds fifteen a day. Everything else - the cards, the quiz, the schedule, your whole library - is the same on both.
Pro renews every month until you cancel. The price is on the plan page; if it ever changes, the change applies from your next renewal and never retroactively.
Cancel whenever you like, from the subscription page. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for, and you are not charged again.
You have fourteen days from subscribing to cancel for a full refund. If you ask us to start straight away - and subscribing to a service you use immediately is exactly that - you accept that once you have used it, the refund is reduced by what you have used. This is the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, and it applies whatever we write here.
To cancel, email golikovichev@gmail.com. You do not need to give a reason.
Do not try to break the service, get around the daily limit, resell access, or upload anything illegal. If you do, we can close your account.
You can delete your account at any time. We can close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why unless the law stops us.
If we fail you, we will refund what you paid for the part of the service that failed. Beyond that our liability is capped at the amount you have paid us in the twelve months before the problem.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Your statutory rights as a consumer stand whatever this page says.
The law of England and Wales, and its courts. If you live elsewhere in the UK, you can use your local courts instead.
